Well im lucky enough to go to an art's school that has the equiment I need. But if I were to do it myself I would find a neutral (gray) hanging back drop (a fabric that doesn't look shiny) and sit my peice on it. Then take two lights and shine them on the peice from two different angles and then take a picture. Works for digital pictures too. I hope that helps some!
